Madison and Allison,
It was so good to see you today. Madison, you looked so beautiful and that big smile you always have is awesome. You are a very special little girl! You are an inspiration to many. Keep strong and remember, God is always with you and He loves you soooo much! And don't forget to give your mom a huge hug each day, that will make you both feel better!!!!

Hi, everyone at the Smith household!
I am sitting up here in Montana and we have snow on the ground. It has been below freezing all week so it hasn't gone away. I will be going to Mom's in the morning and I think it is colder and snowier there.
I'm sending hugs to Madi and Maiya. Madi, I'm glad you are feeling better. Miss you guys - take good care of each other!

Hi Allison & Madi,
It was so good to see you, although briefly, at Duke last month. I wish we could have talked...I looked for you when we got out, but you must have been seeing the doctor. I have been keeping up with Madi and will continue to pray for her. Please forgive me for not sending a thank you for the gifts you put on my porch last year. The framed poem is in my dining room and I think of you fondly when I see it.
